Privacy policy
The argos-agent.com website only collects what you enter in the booking form, to prepare the call. No ads, no ad trackers: a single cookie, which remembers your language if you pick one. Traffic measurement, handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics, sets no cookies.

Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Giovanni Cichella, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel) trading as GC Media, publisher of Argos. Full contact details are in the legal notice.
For any question about your data: contact@argos-agent.com.
What data do we collect, and why?
Only when you book a call. Your answers are used only to prepare the call.
| Data | What it’s for | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Knowing who we’re talking to | Yes |
| Sending you the invitation (Google Meet link) and a reminder the day before | Yes | |
| Company name | Preparing the call | Yes |
| Number of stores, products listed per month, platforms, who lists your products today | Understanding your stores and volume before the call | Yes |
| How you heard about us | Knowing which channels bring people to us | No |
| Message | Anything you want to tell us before the call | No |
| Selected time slot, your browser’s time zone, page language | Booking the slot and showing it in your local time | Automatic |
| Hash of your IP address | Limiting abusive bookings (bots) | Automatic |
Your IP address is never stored in plain text: only a hash of it is. No automated decision is made based on your answers.
What is the legal basis?
- Booking and preparing the call: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- IP address hash, “how you heard about us”, traffic measurement: our legitimate interest in protecting the form and understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where is your data stored, and who can access it?
Bookings are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted in Western Europe. The website itself is served by Cloudflare.
When you book, a Google Calendar event with a Google Meet link is created and an invitation is sent to the address you entered. The day before the call, a reminder email is sent from contact@argos-agent.com (Gmail). For this, Google receives what the invitation needs: your name, your email, your company name (in the event title) and the time slot.
Only the Argos team can access bookings; each new booking triggers an internal notification.
Recipients and service providers:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, bookings database, traffic measurement.
- Google (Google Workspace): the contact@argos-agent.com mailbox (Gmail), Google Calendar and Google Meet for the invitation, the reminder and the call.
Transfers outside the European Union: Cloudflare and Google are US companies. Both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which covers these transfers, and rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in other cases.
How long do we keep it?
- Booking requests: 3 years after our last contact with you. The IP address hash stored with a booking is kept for the same period.
- Anti-abuse counters (IP address hash and time of the attempt): deleted after two days.
- Cloudflare technical logs (date, requested page, errors): 7 days at most.
Which cookies does the site use?
Just one.
| Cookie | What it’s for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| lang | Remembering the language you picked (Français or English). It’s only set if you click the language switcher. | 1 year |
This cookie only exists to respect your choice, so it doesn’t require prior consent, which is why there’s no cookie banner.
Traffic measurement, Cloudflare Web Analytics, works without cookies or any storage in your browser, and doesn’t track you from one site to another. It gives us overall traffic numbers: page views, referring pages, device type, country.
What about the “Add to Google Calendar” button?
After you book, this button opens Google Calendar with the date and title of the call: Google’s privacy policy then applies. The .ics file is generated by our site and doesn’t go through any third party.
What are your rights?
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict its processing, or to object to it. Write to contact@argos-agent.com.
To reschedule or cancel a call, just reply to the invitation or write to contact@argos-agent.com.
If you believe your rights aren’t being respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with your local data protection authority.
How is your data protected?
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to bookings is restricted to the Argos team and protected by a secret key. Your IP address is never stored in plain text.
