How Argos works

Argos builds your product listings end to end from a supplier link, following your store’s rules. Nothing goes live until someone on your team has approved the listing. Before that, the Argos team reviews your stores, sets Argos up around your process, and a pilot run on 1 store lets you make sure it’s what you expected.

Is Argos “full AI”?

No. Argos does the prep work; your team keeps the final say. Every listing Argos produces lands in an approval queue, and nothing goes live until a human has signed off. You review, tweak if needed, and approve.

Then it’s your call: publish directly in one click, or send it to your store as a draft.

What does the setup look like?

Argos isn’t an off-the-shelf tool: it’s rebuilt from the ground up around each store’s process. You don’t have to lift a finger: we set it all up for you.

  1. A 30-minute callTogether, we look at your store, your volume and your biggest bottlenecks. The call is no-commitment.
  2. A review of your stores and processEvery setup is custom-built: the exact price depends on your stores, so we start with a review. Setup starts at €3,000.
  3. Configuration, store by storeEach store’s visual identity is calibrated for you. We also set your voice, your pricing rules, the attributes you already use, your listing formats, and an account for each team member.
  4. ConnectionsWe plug Argos into your stores, whatever they run on, and into every tool it needs: AliExpress through its official API, every other source through our in-house scraping tools.
  5. A pilot run, included in your setupBefore we roll out across all your stores, Argos goes live on 1 store, with a demo on 10 products. You make sure it’s what you expected, then we roll it out to the rest.

Argos can be up and running in as little as 2 weeks.

What happens between the supplier link and the listing?

You paste a product page link. Argos takes it from there:

  • Copy, in your store’s voice: one brief for the whole team, so the same voice on every listing, no matter who runs it or who approves it.
  • Images: Argos keeps the product exactly as it is in the photo and redoes everything around it (background, lighting, staging) following your store’s style guide. Main image, gallery and variant images are cropped, made consistent, then compressed so your site stays fast.
  • Price: your formula (tiers, rounding, price endings), applied and broken down on every listing.
  • Attributes and category: Argos matches the attributes you already have instead of creating yet another one.
  • Format: number of images, copy format, required blocks. Every listing comes out in the target store’s format.

Prepping a listing takes 20 to 30 minutes, but it runs on its own: you launch a batch of fifty products, go do something else, and come back to review.

What gets checked before a listing reaches you?

Each listing arrives complete, with what was checked: formats counted, attributes matched, price breakdown. On the image side, every render goes through a separate check.

So you never start from a blank page: you review a finished listing, with what you need to approve it quickly.

Who approves, and how long does it take?

You, or your team. Argos comes with an interface that’s all yours: every team member gets their own account, sees only what concerns them, and approves a listing in 5 minutes instead of an hour.

Your product listers go from data entry to approval: they review, approve in one click, and get time back to find winning products. With Argos, you get 9 to 12 listings in the time it takes to build one without Argos.

What happens to a listing once it’s approved?

It goes to your store, live or as a draft, your call. Argos is plugged into each store’s platform at setup: Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop or anything else.

You run all your stores from the same interface, and each one keeps its own style guide and rules.

And once Argos is up and running?

A single pay-as-you-go plan covers everything that keeps your Argos running, day in, day out:

  • your usage credits;
  • maintenance and updates for your Argos;
  • a dedicated technician.
What Argos doesn’t do
  • Publish a listing no human has approved.
  • Create yet another attribute when you already have one.
  • Treat all your stores the same: each one keeps its own style guide and rules.
  • Leave you to configure it alone: setup and connections are handled by the Argos team.

Questions about the method

Can several people approve listings?
Yes. Every team member gets their own account and sees only what concerns them. Since the whole team works from the same brief, the voice stays the same from one listing to the next, no matter who runs it or who approves it.
What happens after the pilot run?
The pilot run puts Argos live on 1 store, with a demo on 10 products. You make sure it’s what you expected, then we roll it out to the rest of your stores. The pilot run is included in your setup.
Who supports me once Argos is in place?
A dedicated technician. The pay-as-you-go plan covers your usage credits, plus maintenance and updates for your Argos.
